Tiber River Walk

The Lungotevere (Tiber embankments) offers a scenic walking route through central Rome. The Route: Walk along the lower paths near the water, passing beneath historic bridges. Less crowded than street level. Highlights: Pass under Ponte Sisto, Ponte Sant'Angelo, and others. Views of Castel Sant'Angelo. Street art on the embankments. Dog Information: Dogs on leash. The path is paved and easy walking. Can be combined with Trastevere exploration.
