Villa Ada is a vast public park in northern Rome, once a royal estate with beautiful landscaping and natural areas. Dog Paradise: Off-leash areas in the wilder parts of the park. A small lake adds interest. Pine forests provide shade in summer. Features: Egyptian-style catacombs, the former royal villa, wooded trails, and open meadows. Very popular with Roman dog owners. Best Access: Multiple entrances. The Via Salaria entrance is most accessible.
