Canal Saint-Martin Walk

The Canal Saint-Martin is a 4.5km waterway connecting the Canal de l'Ourcq to the Seine. The Route: Walk from Place de la République north along the canal, past iconic iron footbridges and locks. Dog Paradise: The canal path is beloved by Parisian dog owners. Wide quays, plenty of sniffing spots, and many dog-friendly cafés. Highlights: The Hôtel du Nord, turning locks in action, and the tree-lined Quai de Valmy.
